A Report on the
AMC MESSIANIC CONFERENCE

held in Hampton, VA -
July 16 to 18, 2007

Designed to Equip Leaders & Volunteers
in Messianic Jewish Congregations

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS:

Clinical Psychologist Dr. Michael Herts
is a Jewish believer and is planting a Messianic Congregation in Hampton, Virginia. He led sessions on avoiding Leadership burnout, handling difficult members of your congregation, recognizing personality disorders, and all these within the truth that scripture holds out to us. These are real issues all Congregational Leaders face.

Messianic Rabbi Mottel Baleston
shared his congregation’s transition from leadership forms that were ad-hoc and prone to conflict to the model that scripture holds out for us. It wasn’t an easy road, but they’ve seen the blessing of God upon it. He outlined a way forward for leadership in the local setting.

Plus . . .
We also heard from AMC President Steve Shermett, British Messianic Teacher Dr. Alan Poyner-Levison, Congregational Leader Pete Koziar, veteran Messianic Leader David Sedaca and others laboring for Messiah Yeshua.
